One of the many things I love about my carriage house is not only the privacy, but also the close proximity to the shopping center.  I just love walking to Publix to pick up a few things, walking to the restaurants for dinner, or just to browse when time allows at Joann Fabrics or Pier One. While The Landings offers so many living options, and recreational opportunities, the one thing that I find so incredible, unique to anything I have ever seen, is the people. The Landings folks are so diverse and wonderful, we feel lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community.

Landings Community

It’s wonderful living here in the Landings.  There are so many beautiful lakes, trees, and a lot of interesting wildlife to enjoy.   It’s hard to believe you’re in the middle of town living amongst so much greenery!   As a family with two young girls, it’s so nice not having to worry about big busy streets when they ride their bikes around the neighborhood or to the clubhouse for a swim.  We also love going kayaking on the bay and playing tennis at the racquet club as often as we can.

The Landings has the feel of a small town, where neighbors know each other and "look out for each other" in the very best of ways. It is such a pleasure to ride our bikes around the community under the beautiful canopy of trees, observing the natural environment that we are privileged to live among. We stop often due to the friends that are out, catching up with those we haven't seen in awhile and meeting new members of our community. The location has been ideal for us as active members of The Landings and Sarasota community. We are so committed to this area that we even purchased a condo for investment. Those are some of the reasons that we have been here for 25 years.
